Wedding lingerie must be paid as much attention as a wedding dress, and we really mean it. Without proper lingerie, no wedding dress can look as beautiful as it is without suitable inner wear. Wedding Lingerie to Suit the Wedding Dress

Choosing the Right Bra 

You have pay as much attention to choose bra as you did while buying the wedding dress. For necklines such as sweetheart, strapless, off shoulder, halter neck, one shoulder, strapless bras work fine. Go for strapless with deep plunge according to the depth of your neckline. For scoop necks, regular t-shirt bra works great. And for backless, the kind of bra that has cups attached from the front with adhesives on the size are the right option to go to. Strapless bra covers wide range of the spectrum of necklines to having it as a backup is a good idea too. If you are not very comfortable with strapless bras, you can opt for bustiers which offer more support and serve the purpose well. Always make sure your bra does not have excessive pearls, beads or embellishments as there are chances that they might be visible underneath your dresses. 

Choosing the Right Panties 

Well, once you are done with the top wear, you now have to choose the undies. The basic thing to remember is we do not want any VPL. So, the key is to choose fabrics are light and without panty lining, especially in case of light fabrics like chiffon or georgette. If you are going for mermaid fit or something similar, thongs will be a good option too. Light lacy ones are always the good options. You can wear briefs only in the case your silhouette allows you (like ball gown, fit and flare, etc.) 

Wedding Lingerie Colours 

Although you all are tempted to go with whites under white dresses, we’d like to tell you that they might not be the safest to rely on. When it comes to bra, you can still go for ivory instead of white, but for panties, whites are a big NO. They give unwanted attention and disturb the normalcy of the dress. For panties, always go with nudes or lighter undertones of pink or cream if that doesn’t show on top of your dress. Nude bras work great too. If you think they’re too plain, go for lacy ones or sheer ones. Strictly avoid any colours that show on top of your outfit. Try well in advance in both day and night and see how it works.
